Voice of Life is designed to be quiet — in every sense. This policy explains what information the app and this website handle, and what we do with it. The short version: as little as possible.
Accounts
The Voice of Life app has no accounts, sign-in, or registration. You are never asked for your name, email address, or any other personal details to use it.
What stays on your device
Your saved favourites, your position within each arena's quote deck, and your voice and audio preferences are stored only on your device. They are not synchronised to iCloud or to any server, and they are not transmitted to us.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not track you across other apps or websites. Apple may collect platform-level App Store and diagnostic information under Apple's own terms and your device settings; that is governed by Apple, not by us.
Purchases
Voice of Life is a paid-upfront app with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple and the App Store — we never receive or process your payment details.
Network connections
The app fetches quote content and audio over secure (HTTPS) connections from our content infrastructure — Supabase (quote content) and Cloudflare R2 (audio). Because the app has no accounts, these requests carry no name, email address, or user profile. As with any internet connection, these providers necessarily process standard technical data such as your IP address to respond to requests, and may retain operational logs under their own service and security practices. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
Notifications
The app does not send push notifications and does not collect notification tokens.
What this website collects
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate the service securely.
If you email support@voiceoflife.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and resolve your issue, and we do not add you to any marketing list.
Children
Voice of Life carries a 4+ age rating but is not specifically directed at children — it offers general inspirational and reflective quotations for a broad audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If our practices change, this page will change first, with the date above updated.
